The peak season in the textile industry is sending clear capacity signals from De'an County, Jiangxi. Local printing and dyeing enterprises are running at full capacity, with order books extending into August. This is not an isolated seasonal fluctuation but a structural release of capacity driven by smart transformation and green infrastructure.
Smart Upgrade: Efficiency Leap from Labor-Intensive to Automated
At the workshop of Jiujiang Yisheng Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., automated equipment seamlessly connects processes from weaving to finishing, with significantly fewer workers yet a first-grade product rate exceeding 99%. This model of 'fewer people, higher efficiency' is reshaping the labor-intensive stereotype of traditional dyeing. The new smart workshop, commissioned in 2025, integrates dyeing, coating, printing, lamination, embossing, and calendering, forming a complete loop from weaving to finishing. By mid-May, the company had achieved output value of approximately 30 million yuan, targeting an annual goal of 130 million yuan. For downstream buyers, this means more stable capacity and controllable delivery times.
Green Foundation: 'Five Unifications' Reduce Operating Costs
Another highlight is the stable operation of the park's 'Five Unifications' project for printing and dyeing—unified heating, water supply, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and sludge disposal. This eliminates the need for enterprises to build costly environmental facilities independently. Tan Yurong, deputy general manager of Yiyang Textile Group, noted that accessing this system significantly reduces construction and maintenance costs. Meanwhile, the company has built a 5G smart factory using MES and WMS systems for full-process digital control, boosting production efficiency by 25% and cutting labor costs by 15%. This dual drive of 'green + smart' is becoming a new competitive advantage for central China's textile clusters.
Industrial Agglomeration: Over 400 Enterprises Form a Closed-Loop Ecosystem
After years of cultivation, De'an County has built a complete closed-loop industrial chain covering spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and garment processing. Currently, the cluster hosts over 400 enterprises, including 68 above-designated-size, achieving operating revenue of 15.013 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 23.85%. This growth rate stands out amid the overall pressure on the national textile industry. Behind the growth is the push of the 'De'an Made' regional brand, leveraging the province's only 'Industrial Brain' for textiles and apparel to cultivate digital transformation benchmark enterprises. Several have been recognized as national or provincial green factories.
