A smart production line is pushing Jiangxi De'an to the forefront of digital transformation in textile printing and dyeing. At Yisheng Textile, located in the Fenglin Industrial New Zone, output reached approximately 30 million yuan in the first five months of the year, with an annual target of 130 million yuan and orders booked through August. This is not an isolated case—behind it is a textile cluster with annual revenue exceeding 15 billion yuan, reshaping its position in the global supply chain through smart and green upgrades.

Smart Manufacturing Redefines Production Logic

Stepping into Yisheng's workshop, the scene contrasts sharply with traditional dyeing plants. Automated production lines run efficiently, with minimal human intervention from weaving to finishing. General manager assistant Hu Lejing revealed that fully smart equipment has pushed the first-quality product rate above 99%. In dyeing and finishing—a process historically plagued by high defect rates—digital control has achieved a qualitative leap.

Yiyang Textile, another beneficiary, has built a 5G smart factory using MES and WMS systems for full-process digital control, boosting production efficiency by 25% and cutting labor costs by 15%. In an era of rising labor expenses, this reduction directly translates into price competitiveness. Yiyang's functional and knitted fabrics mainly serve the domestic market, while its garments are exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, with orders remaining strong in both segments.

The Ecosystem's Invisible Driver

Individual company success relies on park-level infrastructure. De'an's 'five unifications' project—centralized heat, water supply, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and sludge disposal—has been running steadily, freeing companies from building their own supporting facilities. Yiyang's deputy general manager Tan Yurong noted that this service system allows firms to focus on core production.

A deeper driver is the province's only 'industrial brain' for textiles. De'an uses it to scale up digital transformation benchmarks among its cluster of over 400 operational companies and 68 above-scale industrial firms. In 2025, the cluster achieved 15.013 billion yuan in revenue, up 23.85% year-on-year, far exceeding the industry average. Multiple companies have been certified as national or provincial green factories, and the high-tech zone has become a national green industrial park.

From 'Made' to 'Smart Made'

The direct effect of smart upgrades is reflected in order structure optimization. Yisheng's main product—woven chemical fiber fabrics—serves over 200 global brands in apparel, bags, umbrellas, and home goods, with overseas orders growing continuously. Production schedules extend to August, with workshops running at full capacity. This 'order front-loading' signals downstream clients' recognition of stable delivery from smart lines.

For buyers, this means more reliable lead times and consistent quality. For factories, smart investments are translating into tangible order premiums. Yisheng plans to further optimize scheduling and increase R&D on new fabrics to enhance value-added. This indicates that De'an cluster is shifting from pure capacity expansion to a 'technology-plus-quality' dual drive.

For Buyers - Prioritize suppliers connected to the 'five unifications' system and certified as 5G smart factories; they offer better delivery stability and cost control. - Monitor new fabric developments from De'an companies, especially functional woven and knitted fabrics, which are becoming the mainstay of European and American orders.

For Exporters - Green factory certifications (national/provincial) from De'an cluster can serve as ESG supply chain compliance points, helping meet Western brands' environmental requirements. - With order books filled through the second half of the year, reserve production capacity 3-4 months in advance to avoid delivery bottlenecks.
