An intelligent production line has pushed the premium product rate of woven synthetic fabrics above 99%, while scheduling production through August of this year—this is the first-half report card from Yisheng Textile Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. in the Fenglin Industrial New District of De'an County, Jiangxi. By mid-May, the company had achieved an output value of approximately 30 million yuan, targeting 130 million yuan for the full year. Against the backdrop of traditional dyeing being long criticized for high energy consumption and low efficiency, De'an, a central county cluster, is rewriting industry perceptions with data.
Intelligence: From 'Human Wave' to 'Machine Replacement'
Inside Yisheng's workshop, the most obvious change is personnel density. Automated production lines seamlessly connect processes from weaving to finishing, with steps like setting, coating, printing, laminating, and calendaring handled by smart equipment. General Manager Assistant Hu Lejing revealed that full-process intelligence not only stabilizes the premium product rate above 99% but also addresses the long-standing dual pain points of labor shortage and quality fluctuation in the dyeing industry.
Similarly, Yiyang Textile Group in De'an has achieved full digital control over production through a 5G smart factory utilizing MES and WMS systems. Deputy General Manager Tan Yourong noted that production efficiency has increased by 25%, and labor costs have dropped by 15%. For foreign trade enterprises, this means greater production flexibility and more controllable delivery cycles amid volatile overseas orders.
'Five Unifications' Support: Lowering the Threshold for Green Transformation
Environmental costs have long been a barrier for small and medium-sized enterprises in the dyeing industry. The 'Five Unifications' project in the De'an High-tech Zone—centralized heat, water supply, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and sludge disposal—has removed this public cost from individual companies. By directly connecting to the system, Yiyang Textile no longer needs to build its own wastewater treatment plant or boilers, significantly reducing construction and operation costs.
This combination of park-level infrastructure and enterprise technological upgrades has enabled several companies to be recognized as national or provincial green factories, while the De'an High-tech Zone itself has become a national-level green industrial park. For buyers, this means significantly lower environmental compliance risks for suppliers, a critical advantage as European markets increasingly demand carbon footprint traceability.
Data Confirms: Cluster Effect is Unfolding
De'an County's textile and apparel cluster has formed a fully closed-loop chain covering spinning, weaving, dyeing, and garment processing. By 2025, the cluster hosts over 400 enterprises, including 68 above-designated-size industrial firms, achieving total revenue of 15.013 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.85%. This growth rate stands out against the generally pressured national textile industry.
Yisheng's products cover apparel, luggage, umbrellas, and home goods, serving over 200 global brands primarily in the European and American markets. Yiyang Textile balances domestic and international sales, with functional and knitted fabrics for the domestic market and garments for Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. The full-capacity operation of both companies indicates that the capacity released by intelligent transformation is precisely meeting the rebound in overseas orders.
