A smart dyeing and printing production line is pushing the textile cluster in De'an County, Jiangxi, into a new growth trajectory. Yisheng Textile, which began operations in 2025, had completed about 30 million yuan in output value by mid-May, targeting 130 million yuan for the full year. Behind this figure is full-capacity production and overseas orders booked through August.
Smart Upgrades Reshape Production Efficiency
In Yisheng Textile's workshop, the labor-intensive scene of traditional textiles has been rewritten. Smart equipment runs through every step from spinning to finishing, with few workers on site but smooth process flow. The company reports a first-quality rate exceeding 99%, a high threshold for the dyeing and printing industry.
The direct payoff of efficient production is a steady influx of orders. Yisheng's main product, woven synthetic fabrics, sells primarily to European and American markets, serving over 200 global brands across apparel, luggage, umbrellas, and home goods. Its production schedule is full through August, with the workshop running at maximum capacity.
Yiyang Textile Group, also in the same park, shows a similar full-production state. Its functional and knitted fabrics target the domestic market, while garments are exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. These cases indicate that smart upgrades not only improve efficiency but directly translate into market competitiveness, especially in winning overseas orders where delivery capability and quality stability are key.
Park Infrastructure and Cluster Effect
The explosion of De'an's textile and garment cluster is not an isolated case. To date, the cluster has over 400 enterprises in operation, including 68 above-designated-size industrial firms, achieving revenue of 15.013 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 23.85%. This growth rate stands out among traditional textile regions.
The core driver is the systematic construction of the 'De'an Weaving' regional brand. The park has deployed the only 'Industry Brain' in the province's textile and garment sector, cultivating digital transformation benchmark enterprises at scale. Meanwhile, the 'Five Unifications' project for printing and dyeing—unified heating, water supply, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and sludge disposal—significantly reduces individual companies' energy and operational costs.
Yiyang Textile's case illustrates the advantage: after fully connecting to the 'Five Unifications' service system, the company avoids building its own wastewater treatment and heating facilities, cutting construction and operating costs. Combined with its 5G smart factory using MES and WMS systems, production efficiency has increased 25% and labor costs have fallen 15%. This 'green plus smart' dual-drive model is becoming common among De'an textile firms.
Closed-Loop Chain and Transformation Direction
After years of cultivation, De'an County has built a fully closed-loop industrial chain from spinning, weaving, and dyeing to garment processing. This means every step from raw materials to finished products is coordinated within the park, reducing logistics losses and supply chain fluctuation risks.
For buyers and foreign trade companies, the lesson from De'an's model is clear: smart and green transformations are not options but necessities for competitiveness. Yisheng Textile plans to further optimize scheduling and increase R&D on new fabrics to boost added value; Yiyang Textile has cut labor costs by 15% through digital control. These moves all point in one direction—using technology investment to offset rising labor costs and locking in long-term orders with quality stability.
