The textile industry is undergoing a fundamental shift in momentum. Among the individuals and groups honored at the 105th anniversary of the CPC, two individuals and seven collectives from the textile sector were recognized. Behind these names lies a signal of deep transformation from factory floor to global supply chain: Party building is no longer just a political ritual but a tangible productivity converter.
Red Engine of Industrial Transformation
The case of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Party Committee is particularly typical. The committee led the construction of a 20-million-ton/year oil refining and chemical integration project within 19 months, breaking foreign monopoly, and simultaneously built the world's largest PTA base. What does this mean? For the chemical fiber industry, the localization of PX and PTA directly lowers the production cost of downstream polyester fabrics, systematically dismantling the raw material bottleneck that once relied on imports.
The Party Committee of Jilin Carbon Valley Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. points to another strategic direction. The company's precursor capacity has reached 190,000 tons, making it the world's largest carbon fiber precursor supplier. Carbon fiber is a core material for aerospace, wind turbine blades, and high-end sporting goods; its capacity expansion directly impacts China's self-sufficiency rate in high-performance fibers. Here, Party building plays the role of coordinating R&D resources, stabilizing technical teams, and accelerating industrialization.
Zhang Bo, chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, received the "National Outstanding Communist Party Member" title. Behind this is Weiqiao's expansion from cotton spinning to aluminum and new energy. Zhang has long promoted smart transformation on the front line, and Weiqiao's green smart factory has become an industry benchmark. For buyers, this means more stable delivery and consistent quality.
From Skill Training to Global Layout
Mi Xuemei, from Zhongshan Xiahu Shijia Garment Co., Ltd., is the only individual winner from a finished apparel enterprise. As a customer service director and Party branch member, she organized smart equipment operation training to help workers cope with automation. This reflects an industry pain point: after smart transformation, the biggest shortage is not equipment but people who can operate it. Mi has delivered over 100 lectures, directly stabilizing hundreds of workers' employment confidence.
The case of Changzhou Hualida Garment Group Co., Ltd. Party Committee shows how Party building empowers internationalization. The company has five factories in Vietnam with 15,000 employees, and its airbag production line turns out 130,000 finished units daily. A key shift occurred last year: Hualida moved from using imported fabric to building an integrated chain from weaving, coating to sewing, making its products more popular with domestic new energy vehicle makers. This means Party building helps companies bridge the management gap after going global, translating domestic organizational discipline into overseas execution.
Yueda Textile Group Party Committee also made the list. Yueda has a complete spinning, weaving, and dyeing chain in Yancheng. Through Party member technical teams, it has reduced labor per 10,000 spindles from 80 to under 20. For factory managers, this is a replicable path to cost reduction.
Dual Focus on Technology Autonomy and Green Transition
Hengli's environmental innovation deserves special mention. Its pioneering "embedded wastewater treatment" technology stabilizes COD below 15 mg/L and achieves full water reuse, earning it a national "Green Factory" certification. As Europe tightens carbon footprint requirements for textiles, such technology translates directly into export competitiveness.
The Party Committee of Suzhou Huichuan Technology Co., Ltd. represents the underlying support for smart textile machinery. Huichuan is a leader in industrial automation control, and its servo systems and PLCs are widely used in textile equipment. With 62% of Party members holding master's degrees, this young, highly educated organization signals that the industry's "machine substitution" is moving from hardware replacement to algorithm optimization.
