The textile industry is undergoing an internal energy transformation. On July 1, at the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, several textile collectives and individuals were honored. These cases reflect a deep logic: Party-building is driving technological breakthroughs, supply chain upgrades, and global expansion.

Technological Breakthroughs: How Party-Building Breaks Monopolies

Among the honorees, the Party Committee of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd. is known for its "Silk Road Pioneer" brand. It completed a 20 million-ton/year refining-chemical integration project in 19 months and a 1.5 million-ton/year ethylene project (the world's largest) in 13 months, breaking foreign monopolies. Data shows 83.3% of senior managers are Party members; through 'Party Member Pioneer Posts' and 'Double Cultivation' programs, over 100 members became technical leaders, contributing 75% of patent inventions in recent years.

Similarly, the Party Committee of Jilin Carbon Valley Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. integrated Party-building into innovation, lifting domestic carbon fiber into the global first echelon with an annual raw fiber capacity of 190,000 tons, making it the world's largest producer.

Supply Chain Reshaping: From Import Dependence to Self-Reliance

The case of Changzhou Huada Garment Group Co., Ltd. shows how Party-building pushes traditional apparel firms toward high-value chains. In 2008, Huada sent teams to Japan for airbag production know-how; by 2023, it built a full chain from fabric weaving to bag sewing. Today, 130,000 airbag units are produced daily, with lightweight products popular in the NEV market. Vice General Manager Huang Xiaoxiao noted this shift from 'imported fabric user' to 'integrated chain controller'.

Huada's global footprint is also notable: over a decade of Belt and Road Initiative, it has five factories in Vietnam with 15,000 employees, targeting 10 billion yuan in sales. Party Secretary Zhang Wenchang credits 25,000 'ordinary employees' as the company's greatest asset, and 'ordinary people's Party-building' boosts productivity through enhanced employee well-being.

Talent and Organization: Young, Highly Educated 'Red Engineer' System

The Party Committee of Suzhou Inovance Technology Co., Ltd., another honoree, has a membership where 62% hold master's degrees, 95% have bachelor's or above, and 91% are under 40. The committee's 'Red Engineer' training system guides members to pioneer in industrial automation, contributing to national tech autonomy. This signals a shift from grassroots mobilization to a platform for high-end talent.

Mi Xuemei of Zhongshan Xiashi Huzhu Clothing Co., Ltd., a National Outstanding CPC Member, organized skill training to help workers cope with automation, delivering over 100 lectures. Her role extends from Party member to catalyst for industrial worker transformation, easing 'skill anxiety' at the micro level.

Green and Responsibility: Party-Building Drives Sustainable Transition

Hengli's 'embedded wastewater treatment' technology achieves COD below 15mg/L and full water reuse, earning 'National Green Factory' status. This result stems from the Party committee embedding 'dual carbon' goals into performance metrics. Wuxi Guolian Group's '365 Smart Chain' Party brand links organizational, innovation, industrial, capital, and talent chains, turning state-owned enterprise missions into local high-quality development.

Practical Recommendations

For Buyers - Prioritize suppliers with 'Party Member Pioneer Post' certifications; they often demonstrate higher technical stability and delivery reliability. - Focus on nationally honored firms like Hengli and Huada; their self-controlled supply chains reduce disruption risks. - Demand 'Green Factory' certifications; Hengli's case shows Party-building-driven environmental investments are more systematic.

For Foreign Trade Enterprises - Emulate Huada's 'headquarters economy + overseas base' model; when expanding in Belt and Road countries like Vietnam, reference its Party-building-driven management output. - Track technological breakthroughs of honored firms, such as carbon fiber precursor and airbag fabrics; these categories are shifting from import substitution to export competitive advantage. - Include 'Party-building compliance' in supplier audits; as ESG requirements tighten in Western markets, Party-building-driven social responsibility systems offer stronger credibility.
