In mid-July, the Haining Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the 33rd Haining Fur Fair, with a 26,000-square-meter exhibition space gathering over 100 brands and thousands of new products. The three-day event, themed "Vientiane Tide New," featured 14 fashion shows and became a critical lens for observing China's fall-winter fashion industry trends.
The trend release focused on four core categories: premium mink, sustainable leather, youthful fur, and tech-driven down. Leading brands like Longfeng Gelemei and Xuebao collaborated with designers, blending Spanish leather craftsmanship with grassland culture or embedding antibacterial and detox technology coatings, pushing functional upgrades. The down category debuted in a joint release, with brands like Huaying Xintang and Hongchang Down emphasizing "high fill power," signaling a shift from price competition to standardization and quality.
The fair introduced a new premium down zone, with brands like Benyuan Chenwu and Leya showcasing lightweight, trendy down jackets, breaking traditional bulky designs. Emerging original zones featured brands like Dongxi and Daxi Fur, offering differentiated designs to meet young consumers' demand for personalization. Notably, exhibitors expanded beyond Haining to include industrial clusters from Guangdong and Liaoning, forming a broader fall-winter fashion ecosystem.
A key change was the upgrade of Haining Fashion Week to "China Fashion Week·Haining," with exclusive authorization from the national platform. This marks Haining's transition from a regional to a national fashion hub. The fashion week, themed "Tide Rising Symbiosis," gathered 14 shows, including local brands, a Shenzhen full-category brand, Korean designers, and academy works, reflecting diverse integration from industry to design.
Digital transformation was another focus. The "Picheng AI" booth showcased a full-chain solution from AI virtual try-on to design, marketing, and security. This system aims to improve selection efficiency, accelerate original iterations, and lower operational barriers, making the fair a practical tool for industrial upgrades. For buyers and factories, this means significantly shortened selection and design processes.
The fair attracted the highest number of international buyers ever, with over 100 from Russia, Brazil, South Korea, and other regions. The Haining Fashion Industry Selection Center has been operational, offering a one-stop ordering service for overseas buyers through the "Chao Lai·First Pick International Fall-Winter Fashion Ordering Fair."
During the promotion session, Haining Fur City unveiled its international layout: westward via Urumqi airport hub for Central Asia, and northward in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region for a premium fur market. The city is implementing the "1513 Strategy," planning one Chinese port hub, five overseas display centers, and overseas warehouses in countries with populations over 100 million. The Chao Lai Cross-border Trade Center has been established, deepening the "1039" market procurement trade model to help small and medium merchants export collectively. These moves indicate Haining's goal is not just selling products but exporting "Haining Design" and supply chain capabilities.
